Policies
Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctor can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
emergency policy
We are happy to see our regular patients for after hours emergencies. If you need emergency services after hours, simply call us at our main phone number (740.775.PAWS) and leave a message with your name, your pet's name, a contact number, and the reason for the emergency. If we are unable to take your emergency, or we have never seen your pet before, we reccomend that you call MedVet at 614.846.5800 or OSU Veterinary Hospital at 614.292.3551.
Surgery policy
Prior to any surgery, you need to withold food from your pet at midnight before the surgery. Offering water is okay, however. Plan on dropping your pet off between 9:00 and 10:00 am the day of the surgery. Your pet's pick up time will vary depending on their species and type of surgery being performed. Please call during business hours if you have any questions concerning surgery.

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash and personal checks.
